The pH levels within our body greatly affect our health and well-being. pH is (potential hydrogen) measures the hydrogen-ion concentration of a substance. The larger the pH reading, the more alkaline and oxygen-rich the substance is. The lower the pH, the more acidic and oxygen-deprived it is.

The connection between an acidic body and sickness and disease is recognized as acidosis. Many foods we eat are toxic and eating these foods could cause our anatomies to become acidic during and after digestion.

Last year there have been over $100 billion worth of anti-aging products sold. These types of products are quick-fixes that don't address underlying health issues that might cause premature aging, among which will be an unbalanced pH level.

An upset stomach is frequently considered to have an excessive amount of acid but that is usually untrue. The stomach is the main one part of the body that needs to be quite acidic. However, an acidic pH level doesn't create smooth digestion. In reality, digestion will often slow down, increasing likelihood of "acid reflux" and other indigestion issues.
